The History Group meets at Donaghadee Community Centre on the 3rd Monday of the month. At the meeting, a subject, chosen by one of the group members is presented by that member. All group members undertake to lead a subject. Topics are varied and there is no limitation on choice or content. As examples, we have had presentations on General Smuts of South Africa, Edward V111 and Mrs Simpson, The Island of Saint Helena and Napoleon, the V2 bombing campaign 1942/1944, The Chartists, Edith Piaff and many others.
