The Wine Appreciation group is in its infancy but has met three times so far to enjoy wine tasting events hosted by Neill Wines of Groomsport. Once an event is organised, members are contacted by email and asked to book and pay approximately £15-20 in advance. The expert staff at Neill’s select six wines to suit our theme – so far we have tasted superb wines on the themes of ‘affordable luxury’, ‘summer drinking’ and ‘festive selections’. We have had the opportunity to learn about these wines and generally expand our knowledge.
